Lost pets

Complete the online lost pet form. The public page explains that APES can help match your report if someone later submits a found pet report with related details.

If you can keep hold of the animal temporarily while searching for the owner, APES asks you to complete the approved found pet form.

Reporting guidance

Use clear descriptions, photographs and location details where available. If ownership is disputed, the animal is unsafe to contain, or the situation becomes urgent, move to direct APES or emergency guidance rather than relying only on the questionnaire flow.
