Animal adoption scheme conditions

Public adoption information is shared in good faith to help guide adopters through the process. The live page says this information may include details from previous owners, the Association inspectorate or observations made while the animal was in APES care.

The page also states that while APES makes every effort to ensure information is accurate, it cannot guarantee that accuracy, and users should also review the re-homing policy.

Health and treatment note

The visible public condition says the animal is deemed to be in normal health when leaving the facility unless specific conditions are noted on the Animal Adoption Form. Future veterinary or treatment costs become the adopter's responsibility except where another clause states otherwise.

Adopter responsibilities

The public route is intended to support informed adoption rather than impulse collection. Adopters should expect species-appropriate setup, realistic ongoing costs, legal compliance where relevant and continued responsibility once the animal leaves APES care.

Review note

Because the source page exposes only part of the longer adoption wording in crawlable public output, this rebuilt page preserves the visible text and records the need for APES review before any deeper legal rewrite.
