🐒 APES Shelter & Rescue – Primate Education Programme

In honour of our latest primate arrival and our long-term commitment to all exotic species in our care, APES Shelter & Rescue is launching something significant.

We are developing a dedicated Primate Education Programme.

This will include:

• A structured training course

• Welfare-based care standards

• Realistic commitment education

• Husbandry expectations

• Ethical responsibility guidance

Let us be clear: primates are not entry-level pets.
They are complex, intelligent, socially demanding animals.

If someone is determined to keep one, they must understand what that actually means.

Two platforms. One destination.
